Eddie has over 19 years’ experience in the asbestos management industry and was one of the founding Directors of First Order Red Ltd, the market leading, award winning asbestos consultancy. From 2004 until 2013, Eddie fulfilled a variety of roles from a laboratory based bulk analyst to a site-based surveyor/analyst and ultimately to consultant.
Following the acquisition of First Order Red by Santia in 2013, Eddie spent some time guiding his clients through the integration process. He was then appointed as Santia’s Head of Business Development in 2016 to leverage his track record of managing and growing a highly successful consultancy business. In 2017, he joined 5 other members of the senior management team in acquiring Santia through the process of a management buyout (MBO).
Having spent two successful years as Director of Business Development, Eddie left Santia at a point of re-finance in order to move back into a Managing Director role at the newly formed Kordus Consulting.
Eddie has the technical knowledge and experience required to work with clients at a strategic level, developing pricing strategies for the purpose of budgetary planning, drafting innovative specifications for asbestos removal and the project management of major works.

Will has over 22 years’ experience in the asbestos management industry, gaining his initial qualifications and experience as an Analyst, Surveyor and Special Projects Consultant before taking a position as an Asbestos Manager for a local authority. This position enabled Will to gain a client’s perspective on the industry, and as such, he realised that the surveying and analytical work undertaken by many consultancies did not meet the required standards for quality or customer service.
Since moving into the quality management side of the industry, Will has been responsible for maintaining the UKAS accreditation and technical governance of two successful asbestos consultancies. He has effectively implemented new legislative requirements on a continuing basis through constant dialogue with the industry accreditation bodies.
Will was a founding director of the market leading UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, First Order Red Ltd, which gained several long-term contracts with prestigious clients and won multiple awards. Additionally, whilst working at First Order Red Ltd, Will developed a unique technique for fibre discrimination (by polarised light microscopy), for which FOR Ltd became the first UKAS accredited laboratory in the UK. This has not been achieved by any other laboratory to date.
First Order Red was acquired by Santia Asbestos Management Ltd in 2013 providing Will with the opportunity to join a national consultancy. Will was part of the Management Buyout team that acquired Santia Asbestos Management ltd in 2018. He then spent two successful years on the board as Technical Director managing a large quality team operating across the UK.
Will took the decision to move to the newly formed Kordus Consulting to allow him to offer his expertise to clients across the industry and build another best in class service.
From a technical point of view, Will’s knowledge base is rare having worked at all levels within the industry as well as having experienced the client-side management of large building portfolios.

Paul’s experience in the asbestos industry stretches over 19 years; initially starting as one of the founding Directors of First Order Red in 2004. Following the acquisition of First Order Red in 2013 by Santia Asbestos Management, Paul went on to fulfil a variety of roles within the new company structure from Operations Manager to Key Account Manager.
Following a sabbatical in Europe, Paul then returned to Santia to fulfil the role of Lead Auditor and Technical Manager.
Paul’s decision to join his former business partners as a director and owner of Kordus Consulting was an easy one for all concerned. His broad range of experience in all aspects of the asbestos industry; from site work through to client management and technical compliance, makes him an asset to any asbestos consultancy.
The focal point for Paul is to again develop the company into one of the market leaders by ensuring the highest quality of both site work and consultancy advice. His track record of mentoring and training new starters is exceptional with many original First Order Red trainees now occupying key roles within compliance across our industry.

Kev has over 20 years in the asbestos industry and was one of the first pre-qualified consultants to work at First Order Red, joining in 2007. Since then, he has fulfilled a variety of roles within both FOR and later, Santia.
Kev’s knowledge of all aspects of site work has always been second to none, using this knowledge to train new employees and develop regional site teams operating to the best quality standards in the industry. He continued to progress to senior Operations Management roles with both client liaison and operational excellence being his focus.
The decision to join Kordus Consulting as a Director and partner was a natural progression for Kev, allowing him to focus entirely on the operational management of his own team, ensuring a best-in-class training programme for both new starters and qualified consultants alike.
By way of continued professional development, Kev has continued to add to his Health and Safety qualifications, allowing him to provide advice on areas outside of asbestos consultancy which lends itself well to operating in a variety of CDM roles.
